This site is dedicated to helping Tucson residents find helpful information and find information on what paws 4 a cause does. We are dedicated in helping the local shelters and rescue groups in Tucson provide daily necessities for the animals. Paws 4 a cause takes new and used items and distributes them to local shelters, rescues and individuals with pets in there time of need.
Since our first time in collecting almost 298 items and donating them to the Pima Animal Care Center,Humane Society of Southern AZ, and to local coldwetnoses rescue we have come along way.
In 2008 , Tucson, 3 points, pic rocks ,marana, Patagonia and AZ city resident made paws 4 a cause donations a great success..
We donated nearly 5,000 lbs of dog and cat food in one year. In items alone we donated around 3,500. Wow what an amazing thing. Now we have noticed other also collecting and spreading the good.
To think a little idea to help has become so big and wonderful.
Many shelters ,rescues have been helped with items they need on a daily basis for the dogs and cats in their care. We also helped a few family's with items they needed for there beloved 4 legged family members as well.

Zeus our Humane Society rescue ! Owner released him .Rescued when he was 3 month's old,he is now now 7 yrs old. He has always been my baby boy, a best friend. The Best dog ever ! !
Everyday beautiful dogs like this one die. This dog is waiting to be rescued not knowing there life can be over any day,Hoping someone would rescue them.( im not sure if he made it or not) Its a sad story but a everyday happening at Tucson Pima Animal Care Center. Help rescue a dog or cat from there. Please look on our pacc page to see what dogs or cats need saved. Please only adopt a pet if you can provide for it, when hard times come don't get rid of your pet. They will love you know matter what and they are ok with you being busy. Just being by you and a few petting's in your hard times is better then what awaits them if you get rid of them. A pet is not disposable but a family member and a responsibilities you take when you rescue/adopt.
